Reviews Analyzed
When we launched the DFW Car Wash Intelligence Platform last week, we expected it to be a demonstration of AI and geospatial intelligence. Since then, we've gotten queries from car wash operators and investors. As a result, we've made some changes.
The platform now covers the entire state of Texas — every car wash, every review, every city. We've also added something that changes how you interact with the data entirely: an AI assistant that lets you ask any question and get answers on the spot.
Statewide Coverage: All of Texas, One Platform
The original platform focused on the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex — 1,725 car washes across 96 cities. The new version captures the full state of Texas. Houston, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, the Permian Basin, the Rio Grande Valley, the Panhandle — every market, every city, every location.
Everything that made the DFW platform powerful is still here: the 3D hexagonal heatmap, the AI-categorized reviews broken down by Wash Quality, Customer Service, Price & Value, Speed & Wait Time, Facilities, Detailing, and Overall Experience. The demographic overlays — median household income, population density, home values. The TxDOT traffic volumes. The Opportunity Score. Drive-time isochrones. Full-text review search. The five-tab analytics dashboard.
The difference is scale. Instead of analyzing one metro, you can now compare markets across the entire state. How does Houston's car wash density compare to Dallas? Where are the underserved corridors in San Antonio? Which mid-size cities have the highest opportunity scores? The statewide view makes these cross-market questions answerable for the first time.
Ask AI: Your On-Demand Analyst
The pre-built views and analytics tabs answer the questions we anticipated. But every user has their own questions — the ones specific to their portfolio, their trade area, their competitive set. That's why we built Ask AI directly into the platform.
Click the "Ask AI" button and a chat panel opens. You can ask anything about the dataset in plain English and get a detailed, data-driven answer in seconds. The AI has access to the full review dataset, all the demographic data, and every metric on the platform.
Think of it as an analyst who has read every single review across every car wash in Texas and can answer any question you throw at them.
Here are some examples of the kinds of questions you can ask:
Competitive Intelligence
"What do customers complain about at low-rated car washes?"
Market Gaps
"Which cities are underserved by high-quality car washes?"
Market Comparison
"Compare the Dallas vs Fort Worth car wash markets."
Brand Analysis
"How do Mister Car Wash locations rate compared to independent operators?"
Operational Insights
"What are the most common complaints about wait times in Houston?"
Site Selection
"Which ZIP codes have high income but low car wash density?"
AI-Generated Charts and Visualizations
Ask AI doesn't just return text. When your question calls for a visual answer, the AI generates interactive charts directly in the chat — bar charts, line charts, scatter plots, heatmaps — whatever best represents the data. Ask "How do average ratings vary by city?" and you get a ranked bar chart. Ask "Show the trend of review volume over time in Austin" and you get a line chart. The visualizations are rendered inline, fully interactive, and built on the same charting library as the rest of the platform.
This turns the AI assistant from a Q&A tool into a full analytical workbench. You don't need to know how to write queries or build charts. Just describe what you want to see.
Export to Excel: Custom Datasets on Demand
Sometimes you need the data outside the platform — in a spreadsheet, in a pitch deck, in a model. Ask AI can generate custom datasets and export them directly to Excel files that you can download with one click.
Ask "Give me a table of all car washes in Houston with more than 100 reviews, sorted by rating" and the AI produces a downloadable Excel file with exactly that dataset. Ask "Create a comparison of the top 10 cities by average rating with review counts and demographic data" and you get a formatted spreadsheet ready to drop into your analysis.
Before you download, a preview table shows you exactly what's in the file so you can refine your request if needed. It's the fastest path from question to exportable data — no SQL, no data wrangling, no waiting for someone to pull a report.
Ask a question, get an answer with a chart and a spreadsheet. That's the workflow. No technical skills required.
